What is DHA?
DHA stands for Dihydroxyacetone, derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane,its been around since the 60's and approved by the FDA.
How does it work?
DHA only penetrates the first (dead) layer in the skin in which it reacts with the amino acids in our bodys and produces a Tan color on these skin cells. This coloring effect will not wash off, but rather gradually fade as the dead skin cells slough off.
Whats the best way to keep the tan lasting long?
Preparing your skin to be free of any lotions, oils, perfumes and such will aid in a better application. Also, keeping your skin hydrated is key and exfoliating the dead skin will keep your tan longer.
